I second all other comments regarding the nutritional yeast. I've found malted beer nutritional yeast to work best as a replacement for cheese. I tasted other (non-malted) nutritional yeast, and although they did great in salads, they had none of the cheesy-nutty flavor of their malted counterparts. Was I unlucky? Is it only me?

I don't think I've ever tried the malted one - clearly I'm missing out! Having said that, I love the nutritional yeast that I've tried, it's always been super savoury and cheesy.
